My view of the river yesterday through a rain streaked window. I was not expecting this.* We need rain and for that I am thankful. I adjusted my plans and my attitude.
The soaking rain stopped after a time and I walked to the river's edge to try and capture the cloud reflection on the water. Fish were feeding as you can tell by the ripples on the surface.
Another shower or two and then the sun broke through and the sky began to clear.
Or so I thought...
More rain on the way! It see-sawed back and forth like this all morning. The ever changing sky entertained and it turned out to be an enjoyable morning at the river.
*Forecast for Tuesday, October 13:
Cloudy skies. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High around 90F. Winds NNE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20%.
Wow, look at those water-ladened clouds!

I surfed the Internet, took photos between rain showers, listened to a Bible class online, and knit on a baby blanket while watching the baseball playoffs. It was a good day, spent mostly indoors, but still good.
