Here's the plan: get busy knitting this yarn into two baby blankets for twins. The shower is in about six weeks. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...
I have no doubt you will have the blankets finished in time. Simply Soft knits beautifully and makes a nice blanket. Are you knitting with double strands?
I'm using a single strand of a soft cotton yarn (Hobby Lobby brand-I Love This Cotton-light worsted weight). The pattern is one I've knitted a couple of times before. I feel there is enough time on the calendar, but in reality, with Christmas and traveling, I'm going to be cutting it close.
I didn't find time to cast on until last night. Now that I've started, I think I will be able to knit on it here and there--eventually there will be a blanket--hopefully two.
Going to have to make those needles sing:)
ReplyDeleteI really must cast on today!
DeleteYou can do it! You can do it! Such lucky little babies.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement. I really do think I can, since these will be small stroller blankets, not big crib blankets.

DeleteBeautiful yarn! Can't wait to see what pattern you are using. Your work is always fabulous and you can complete projects much quicker that I can.
